On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Cultural and Social Activities Department at Abu Qir organized a special recreational trip to Cairo for pharmacy students at the main campus of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Abu Qir. This trip was part of the Deanship of Student Affairs' commitment to providing recreational and cultural activities that contribute to the students' psychological and social well-being, especially before the end-of-term exams.

This trip is part of a series of recreational trips organized by the department on an ongoing basis. It was the fourth such trip in the past two weeks for students at the Abu Qir campus, as part of the student activities plan aimed at providing psychological and moral support to students and fostering a spirit of interaction and camaraderie among them.

The trip's recreational program began with breakfast at Dina Farms, where students enjoyed the natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere before embarking on a variety of recreational and adventurous activities. These included the "Sky Park" climbing experience, involving ropes and wooden structures, as well as "Auto V Room" activities for go-karting, all amidst an atmosphere filled with excitement, fun, and challenge. The program also included a long break for a special al fresco dinner, allowing students to relax and recharge after a day full of activities and recreational competitions. The students expressed their great happiness at participating in the trip, emphasizing that it helped renew their positive energy and gave them a good state of mental and emotional readiness before the start of their end-of-term exams. The Deanship of Student Affairs, headed by Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abu El-Azm, and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, strives to provide various cultural, recreational, and artistic activities and trips throughout the semester, contributing to maximizing student benefit and creating a comprehensive university environment that combines academic and recreational aspects.The Deanship also extended its thanks to the supervisors responsible for organizing the student trips and activities, wishing all students of the Academy a wonderful time and continued success and excellence in all colleges.
