AASTMT Celebrates the Graduation of a New Cohort from the Institute of Productivity and Quality
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) celebrated the graduation of a new cohort from its Institute of Productivity and Quality in Alexandria on the evening of Sunday, July 12, 2026. The ceremony honored graduates who earned Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Quality Management, Master's degrees in Quality Management (General Track), Master's degrees in Healthcare Management, as well as Postgraduate Diplomas in Laboratory Quality Management and Accreditation and Healthcare Facility Accreditation Management.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Dawood, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Alexandria; H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of AASTMT; Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Bari, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rabbo, Dean of the Institute of Productivity and Quality; in addition to members of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
A total of 316 graduates received their degrees, representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, and Libya.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag expressed his pride in joining the graduates as they celebrated the culmination of their hard work and dedication throughout their academic journey. He congratulated the graduates and emphasized that AASTMT remains committed to its mission of preparing highly qualified professionals capable of competing at both the national and international levels.
He noted that investment in education and scientific research remains the cornerstone of sustainable development and future prosperity. Addressing the diploma, master's, and doctoral graduates, he emphasized that graduation marks the beginning of a new chapter of responsibility, contribution, and lifelong learning. He encouraged the graduates to continue expanding their knowledge and to apply their expertise in serving their communities and countries, reminding them that they will serve as ambassadors of the Academy throughout their professional careers.
The President of the Academy also extended his sincere appreciation to the Institute's faculty members and to the graduates' families for their unwavering support throughout the students' academic journey, emphasizing that this achievement was made possible through their collective dedication and collaboration. He concluded his remarks by congratulating the graduates once again and wishing them continued success and distinction in both their academic and professional endeavors.
