AASTMT welcomed a new batch of students to the Faculty of Pharmacy at its main campus during an orientation session aimed at guiding them through the start of their academic and professional journey.
The event brought together leading faculty members and founding figures, including Prof. Dr. Hosni Fouad, founder of the faculty; Prof. Dr. Amira Sonbol, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Mohamed Abou El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Ayman Shouky, Director of the Career Development Center; Dr. Bassant Ehab, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; and Dr. Mohamed Metwally, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service.
The session opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Hosni Fouad and Prof. Dr. Amira Sonbol, who emphasized that the new students are the “future of the nation,” and that the field of pharmacy requires dedication and continuous effort. Dr. Sonbol also highlighted the college’s commitment to fostering an integrated educational environment that promotes creativity and innovation beyond the traditional classroom.
Dr. Mohamed Abou El-Azm encouraged students to take full advantage of training opportunities and extracurricular activities, noting that university life is a genuine launchpad into the job market.
