The Marine and Offshore Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center, organized the

"Marine and Offshore Entrepreneur Competition 2025",

aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of marine and offshore engineering.

The Entrepreneurship Center trained the participants on how to transform their creative ideas into viable business models that meet the demands of the job market in this vital sector.

The competition featured outstanding student participation, where students demonstrated a high level of creativity in presenting smart and effective solutions to challenges in the maritime, petroleum, and logistics sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability and technical efficiency.

The competition concluded with the participants presenting their projects before the judging panel on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Al-Farsi Hall.
