Port Training Institute Receives a Delegation from the German University in Cairo

Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and the Maritime Research and Consultation Center for the Maritime Transport Sector, along with a number of department heads at the Institute, received a delegation from the German University in Cairo headed by Dr. Mohamed Taha.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed prospects for cooperation in delivering joint training programs, whereby the theoretical component would be conducted in Egypt and the practical training in Germany, with a focus on consultancy services and scientific research.

The delegation expressed their admiration for the Institute’s advanced training and technical capabilities following a field tour of the modern simulators, workshops, and training halls.

This visit comes within the Institute’s strategy to establish effective partnerships with international entities, aiming to enhance the level of training and consultancy services in the ports and maritime transport sectors.
