“AASTMT - Arab Union of Customs Brokers” Memorandum of Understanding

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) agreements with different World Universities and Institutions for AASTMT consolidation of the bonds of cooperation as well as its role in offering a distinctive performance of educational and training service as to keep pace with the continuous technological development, AASTMT Misr El Gedida International Transport and Logistics Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Arab Union of Customs Brokers. The signing ceremony was held on Monday 28- 9- 2026, with the objective of promoting collaboration in supply chains, logistics, and customs sciences.

Senior officials from both parties participated in the event, where they reaffirmed their dedication to bridging the professional and academic sectors in order to satisfy labor market demands. The creation of specialized curriculum in customs sciences, including an effort to introduce a professional qualification in the subject, will be supported by this Memorandum of Understanding, along with postgraduate and training programs. Additionally, the agreement includes planning events and exchanging knowledge to increase human capacity in Egypt's and the Arab world's customs and logistics sectors, helping to stay up with the changing landscape of trade, transport, and logistics.
