The fifth edition of the "Student Activities Leaders" at AASTMT

Within the fruitful cooperation between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and the Young Leaders Foundation (YLF), AASTMT hosted the fifth edition of the "Student Activities Leaders" program. The event was held at AASTMT Heliopolis campus, under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, H.E. Parliament Mr. Ahmed Fathy - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Youth Leaders Foundation (YLF), and a number of senior officials from AASTMT and YLF.

The three-day event featured a number of student projects that demonstrated innovative ideas that have been formulated into practical models for application in seven developmental domains, such as social development, technology, and healthcare. These initiatives showed creative ideas in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, according to experts in the sector.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Telecom Egypt, and Banque Misr, as strategic partners, all support and participate in the "Student Activity Leaders" program. As, the Youth Leaders Foundation focuses on youth empowerment and engage with policymakers at the highest levels of the United Nations. This status also enhances YLF’s ability to collaborate with other organizations and participate in UN-led initiatives, amplifying its impact on a global scale. YLF’s commitment to youth empowerment is deeply rooted in its belief that young people hold the key to creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. Through its various programs and initiatives, YLF equips young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to become effective leaders and change makers in their communities.
