AASTMT President “Gratitude – Appreciation” to AASTMT Training Ship Aida 4 “Leadership - Crew"

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) educational and training programs for AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students, on AASTMT Training Ship Aida 4, as well as within the outstanding performance and successful completion of the voyage to the port of Algiers in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, which lasted 19 consecutive days at sea from July 16 to August 3, 2026, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President extends his sincere appreciation and profound appreciation to all AASTMT Training Ship Aida 4 leadership and crew.

It is worth mentioning that this remarkable maritime accomplishment in training 150 students from seven Arab, African, and other foreign countries was praised by H.E. AASTMT President. The ship's crew showed the greatest levels of preparedness and professionalism, and His Excellency further commended their competency and discipline in handling difficult weather circumstances. Furthermore, AASTMT President highlighted AASTMT's leadership role and regional significance in maritime training by stressing his keen monitoring of the voyage and the safety of the students and officers throughout the voyage.
