“AASTMT President - Secretary General of the League of Arab States” Meeting

H.E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy - Secretary General of the League of Arab States (LAS) welcomed H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), at the League of Arab States headquarter in Cairo.

During the meeting, AASTMT leading role in supporting the system of joint Arab action was reviewed, as it is one of the leading specialized organizations affiliated with the League of Arab States. AASTMT's numerous academic and training programs and efforts to foster Arab talent were also discussed. In order to improve AASTMT ability to fulfill its noble mission in the areas of education, training, scientific research, and offering member states consultation services, emphasis was placed on the significance of continuing to strengthen its operational procedures and educational system.
