“Governor of Port Said - Governor of North Sinai - AASTMT President” Meeting

On the sidelines of the 4th International and Local Companies Workshop and Exhibition that was organized by College of International Transport and Logistics of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) at Port said campus, H.E. Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon - Governor of Port Said, had welcomed H.E. Major General Dr. Khaled Maghawer - Governor of North Sinai, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh - President of Port Said University. The meeting was held in the presence of Major General Amr Fikry - Secretary-General of the Port Said Governorate, and Dr. Amr Othman - Deputy Governor.

It is worth mentioning that the workshop aims to improve collaboration between academic institutions and the corporate sector in order to support sustainable economic development, as well as to investigate contemporary trends in transportation, logistics, and economic zones. The workshop's title is "The African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA): The Role of Transport and Logistics in Enhancing Economic Integration and Achieving Sustainable Growth in Africa". The governorate's vision, highlighting its crucial role as a hub for trade and logistics, will be presented by the governor of Port Said. Discussions about the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement, a display of top businesses in the industry, and the signing of cooperation agreements with an emphasis on human resource development, job creation, and training will all be part of the event.
