Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) educational and training programs for AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students, AASTMT Training Ship Aida 4, docked at Jeddah Islamic Port in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, welcomed a number of officials from the maritime sector, including H.E. Captain Ali bin Salem Al-Mahwari - Director of Jeddah Islamic Port. This visit was held during AASTMT Training Ship Aida 4 voyage to Jeddah Port, carrying 275 students from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Yemen, Kuwait, Sudan, and Egypt.
During the visit, AASTMT officials from AASTMT Maritime Training Institute demonstrated the ship's instructional features, training systems, and tools for improving navigational and maritime skills to the Saudi delegation. Additionally, the delegation inspected the training environment during a tour of the ship as part of the visit. Furthermore, a meeting with a number of students was conducted to learn about their real-world experiences and the initiatives being taken to train skilled workers to fulfill the demands of the maritime transport and services area.
