Within the keenness of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) on the distinction of its educational service, the continuous improvement and efficient performance of AASTMT educational quality to achieve the graduation of highly efficient cadres that enrich the labor market, AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students of participated in the activities of “Posidonia 2026” that was held during the period from 1 – 5 June 2026, in Athens - Greece.
AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students participated in “Posidonia 2026” alongside a high-level delegation from AASTMT Maritime Training Institute, as keeping on AASTMT training ship Aida training voyage in Cyprus and Greece that is considered as a part of AASTMT educational and training programs for AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students. The students represented a diverse range of nationalities, including Egypt, Nigeria, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
It is worth noting that Posidonia is considered the world's most influential maritime exhibition. Posidonia is more than an Exhibition, it also includes an extended conference, seminars and technical workshops programme. It brings together global maritime power and unparalleled business opportunities. Posidonia is organized every two years in Greece in Athens, Greece under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, and the Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS), with support of Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee (GSCC).
