The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) launched the Tech Innovation Challenge “Round 5”. The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Bahaa - Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, Major General Dr. Ahmed Khairy - Assistant Director of the Egyptian Military Academy and Dr. Aziza Ragab - Director General of the General Administration for STEM Schools Affairs, in addition to the participation of many experts in technology and innovation support, and AASTMT officials.
During the competition, student projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges comprised of prominent academics and experts in technology and innovation. The projects will be reviewed according to rigorous scientific criteria to determine the winning teams. To help students keep creating and succeeding, the competition will offer exceptional training and skill-development courses. This fifth edition represents a major turning point, with over 300 teams participating, representing more than 30 public, private, international, and STEM schools, as well as 10 Egyptian public, private, and national universities.
