Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), keenness on looking forward to new prospects, and continuous development in all areas, in addition to AASTMT leadership in the enhancement and development of the educational process, AASTMT officially launched "Kortext IQ" technology. This announcement was held at AASTMT Alamein Campus during the meeting of AASTMT Supreme Council for Education, chaired by H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President. This initiative stems from AASTMT's partnership with the UK electronic platform "kortext," which offers a plethora of features that surpass all expectations. As AASTMT and Kortext's fruitful cooperation introduced further artificial intelligence (AI) into the learning process to help students and lecturers, where data references, video learning, and a lot of content supported by the leading e-books platform across the UK.
In this regard, AASTMT hosted H.E. Ms. Priya Duran - Kortext's representative for the Middle East and North Africa, and the Kortext delegation, to discuss the technical roadmap for activating the platform, focusing on key pillars of personalized learning, skills development, and digital sustainability through AI integration. Additionally, an extensive workshop, led by a group of AASTMT senior officials, was held over five days at various AASTMT campuses. Participants included AASTMT officials, academic and administrative staff, and students. Furthermore, the discussion panels presented "kortext" plans and its collaboration with Microsoft to use (AI) tools to develop its services to create a more individualized and successful learning environment, while continuing to provide more personalized and effective learning experiences, to transform AASTMT campuses into fully intelligent learning systems based on generative AI technologies.
