Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) role that gives the priority to the achievement of an outstanding quality of educational services in its different tracks by getting close to the world’s constant assessment criteria as to raise the level of performance in the educational process, AASTMT "College of Language and Communication" organized a seminar that entitled: "Micro-Drama: New Horizons and Challenges for Arab Drama". The seminar was held in the presence of experts and specialists in content creation, including Mr. Amr Qoura - an innovative producer, and Mr. Tarek El-Ebiary - an Egyptian director, actor, and writer, in addition to AASTMT College of Language and Communication academic staff members, students, and officials, as well as the dramatic arts fans.
During the seminar, the emerging drama style was explored, highlighting its potential for quickly crafting compelling storylines, a significant challenge in the Arab artistic landscape. It was also observed that this trend significantly impacts the Arabic drama by responding to modern viewing habits that favor quick, mobile-friendly content. As, this trend gives content creators a wide range of opportunities to create exceptional works that engage with the digital audience and attract new viewers.
