"People's Democratic Republic of Algeria" Delegation At AASTMT

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), keenness on looking forward to new prospects, AASTMT welcomed a high-level delegation from People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, which included H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Abu Ghaly - Speaker of People’s National Assembly of Algeria, and H.E. Counsel Mr. Mohamed Soufiane Berrah - Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Cairo, and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, and the accompanying delegation on Wednesday 10- 9- 2025, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus – Alexandria.

During the visit, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President met the delegation members in the presence of AASTMT officials. They discussed the prospective areas of collaboration between the two parties, and reviewed all the topics related to AASTMT developments, achievements and capabilities. Then, the delegation had a tour at AASTMT and visited AASTMT Planetarium and Integrated Simulator Complex (ISC). The delegation praised AASTMT and the capabilities that support the educational process. The delegation members emphasized Algeria's intention in signing future collaboration agreements with AASTMT as a leading model for higher education in the Arab region, in order to serve Algerian students and qualify national cadres.
