AASTMT students specialized training in the European automotive industry

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport's (AASTMT) students participated in specialized training in the automotive industry to learn about the internal processes of major European manufacturers. The event was held during the period from 2 - 16 July, 2025. For the second consecutive year, the training program was held at the University of Burgos in Spain. Internal combustion engines, transmission systems, safety systems, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence were among the subjects addressed in the curriculum. The training program included topics such as internal combustion engines, transmission systems, safety systems, and future technologies like artificial intelligence.

The training program covered a wide range of topics, including the contemporary automobile industry, in addition to theoretical ones. To learn about the newest advancements in Tyre manufacture, the students visited important European industrial companies including Bridgestone in Burgos, Mercedes-Benz in Vitoria, and the La Cuevas Engine Repair Workshop. Among the cultural and recreational destinations on the program was a trip to Madrid, which included a tour of the Prado Museum and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. A visit to Bilbao, in the Basque Country, and the Museum of Human Evolution were also on the program.
