AASTMT President at State of Qatar

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) consolidations the bonds of cooperation which are always looking forward to new prospects, as AASTMT saved no effort in supporting the educational process and discussing the methods that promote discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President and AASTMT elite delegation visited the State of Qatar.

During the visit, H.E. AASTMT President and AASTMT delegation met H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani - Qatar's Minister of Transport, at Qatar Ministry of Transport. They discussed different means of cooperation in various fields, and the means of enhancing AASTMT and Qatar Ministry of Transport cooperation in maritime transportation technical, legal, and research aspects to contribute to developing that vital sector. As they reviewed and investigated AASTMT and Qatar Ministry of Transport future opportunities. Additionally, within the framework of AASTMT's pioneering role as a house of expertise in the fields of maritime transport and education, His Excellency AASTMT President met H.E. Captain Abdullah Al-Khanji - CEO of Mwani Qatar, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of port management and operation, specialized training, and consultation. A meeting was also held with H.E. Sheikh Jabor bin Hamad Al Thani - Director General of the Qatar Aeronautical Academy, in order to determine potential areas of cooperation between the two parties.
