“Rosatom 2nd Science Festival Week in Egypt” at AASTMT

Within the efforts of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) to achieve excellence in all fields and disciplines, AASTMT hosted the activities of the 2nd Science Festival Week in Egypt, organized by Rosatom, the global leader in nuclear energy and advanced technologies. The festival includes distinguished activities dedicated to various ages, including seminars and sessions that aim to attract students with technical backgrounds and enhance their professional ambitions.

It is worth mentioning that the festival activities will be held for the second time in Egypt. The events will be held during the period from during the period 8 - 12 December, 2024 at AASTMT Cairo and El Alamein campuses, in Ain Shams University, and in Alexandria University, in addition to a number of schools in Cairo and Alexandria, allowing their students the opportunity to engage in interactive activities related to the Science Festival.

The Science Festival Week aims to inspire young minds, enhance scientific awareness, and showcase the enormous potential of nuclear science and technology. The event is a prominent event for knowledge exchange and scientific awareness promotion, as the festival is a great platform to enhance participant interaction, which contributes to promoting the culture of innovation. The festival is part of Rosatom’s global initiative to promote education and innovation, and has been successfully implemented in other countries developing nuclear industries such as India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and Belarus, to enhance awareness of nuclear science, encourage scientific curiosity, and empower the next generation of innovators.
