A distinguished visit from the UCLan University delegation

Professor Dr. Cathy Jackson, Vice President of UCLan University (United Kingdom) for Health Affairs, along with her delegation, visited the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport's College of Pharmacy at the Abu Qir campus on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The delegation was warmly received by the Dean, Vice Deans, department heads, and esteemed faculty members.

During the visit, the delegation toured several key facilities, including the educational pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry simulation lab, mini pharmaceutical production unit, research laboratories, and the virtual patient simulator. They also visited educational halls and laboratories. Professor Dr. Cathy Jackson expressed her appreciation for the college’s advanced infrastructure and praised the exceptional educational journey that students experience from admission to graduation.

She took the time to personally greet the college community, sharing her delight in witnessing the college's pivotal role in shaping future leaders. The visit concluded with a private meeting between Dr. Jackson, the Dean, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zalbani, Executive Director of the Medical Sector, where they discussed potential collaborations in enhancing the educational process, postgraduate programs, and scientific research.
