Praise be to God, the students of the Aquaculture Department participated in the course presented by the World Health Organization (WHO) on (Antimicrobial Resistance AMR) by integrating part of the academic aspect of the Aquatic Microbiology course with the practical aspect and the global trend, as antimicrobial resistance is one of the biggest threats facing human health worldwide, and addressing it requires an integrated response that includes the "One Health" approach, which focuses on addressing antimicrobial resistance in the environment.

Through this course, the students learned about the environmental dimensions of antimicrobial resistance and how to take the necessary measures to prevent and control antimicrobial resistance in the environment at the global level
