The Cultural and Social Activities Department in Abu Qir organized a comprehensive student trip to Dahab that combined recreation, nature, and marine activities to boost students' energy and prepare them for the new semester — from January 22nd until dawn on January 27th, 2026

As part of the Deanship of Student Affairs' plan for the 2025/2026 academic year, and in line with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport's commitment to integrating educational, cultural, and recreational aspects, the Cultural and Social Activities Department at the Abu Qir branch of the Academy's main campus organized a student trip to Dahab, one of the most prominent tourist destinations in South Sinai Governorate. Students from the Abu Qir campus colleges participated in the trip.

The three-night, four-day trip took place amidst breathtaking natural scenery, combining the allure of the mountains with the splendor of the beaches. Students enjoyed the world-renowned Red Sea coastline, with its crystal-clear waters and unique coral reefs, as well as participating in a variety of available water sports, visiting distinctive natural sites, and enjoying safari excursions, recreational activities, and social gatherings that fostered camaraderie and communication among the participants.

The trip included a variety of activities and social events that strengthened the bonds of friendship and connection among the participants. The trip aimed to provide students with an opportunity for positive recreation after the exam period, contributing to the renewal of their mental and physical energy and preparing them psychologically and emotionally to begin the new semester with enthusiasm and focus. This reflects the Deanship of Student Affairs' belief in the importance of student activities as a key pillar supporting the educational process and building a well-rounded student personality.The trip was organized under the leadership of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs, and supervised by Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean, with the guidance of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy. This initiative aligns with an institutional vision that prioritizes the student and strives to provide a comprehensive university environment that supports students' aspirations and meets their needs.The trip was distinguished by its excellent organization and the comprehensive supervision provided by the Cultural and Social Activities Department team, ensuring the students' safety and maximizing the program's benefits. Cameras captured many memorable moments that will remain cherished memories for the participating students.
