Exceptional Industrial Advisory Board at Smart Village Campus, in collaboration with 30+ multinational corporations and national authorities

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the College of Engineering and Technology at Smart Village Campus hosted an exceptionally successful Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting, led by H.E. Prof. Ismail Abdel Gafar (President of the AASTMT) and Prof. Mona Fouad (Academic Dean and Dean of Engineering and Technology - Smart Village Campus), with the presence of H.E. Dr. Sherif Haddara (Former Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources) and H.E. Dr. Mohamed Salem (Former Minister of Communications and Information Technology).

Our IAB is comprised of a diverse group of senior industry experts who provide guidance on academic programs to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with global industry trends and demands.

During the meeting, a variety of topics were discussed, including the latest advancements in engineering and technology, new industry standards, and the skills and competencies our students require to thrive in the workforce.

Our vice deans, Prof. Moataz Hegazy, Prof. Sameh Mahfouz, Prof. Saleh Eisa, and Prof. Mahmoud Alwadiie, along with Dr. Nancy Abdel-moniem, the Assistant Dean, and department heads Prof. Suzzette Michel, Prof. Yasser Elshaheer, Prof. Mohamed Abaza, Prof. Adel Elrefaie, Prof. Hatem Diab, and Dr. Salema Fayed expressed their commitment to strengthening industry connections.

Overall, it was a wonderful opportunity for all participants to network, exchange knowledge, and explore new collaborative opportunities!
