AASTMT- Port Said Celebrates New Graduates

On Monday, September 15, 2025, the Port Said Campus of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) celebrated the graduation of a new class (January/July/September), comprising 93 graduates from the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of International Transport and Logistics, and the Institute of Technical and Vocational Studies, who received their bachelor’s and higher diploma degrees in various specializations.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Admiral Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, H.E. Major General Mohab Habashi Khalil, Governor of Port Said, H.E. Air Marshal Akram Mohamed Galal, Governor of Ismailia, and H.E. Eng. Shaimaa El-Seddik, Deputy Governor of Damietta, along with H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of AASTMT, and a number of senior Academy officials.

In his speech, the President of AASTMT emphasized that graduation is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new journey that requires perseverance and creativity as the most powerful tools to overcome future challenges. He also praised the role of parents and faculty members in supporting students and shaping their skills.

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar announced the official approval of launching the Business Information Systems (BIS) Department at the College of Management and Technology in Port Said starting from the upcoming academic year, reflecting the Academy’s commitment to meeting labor market needs and integrating management and technology sciences to serve the community.
