AASTMT - Ministry of Military Production “Agreement”

H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and AASTMT delegation met H.E. Dr. Eng. Salah Suleiman Gumblatt - Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production, at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was held in the presence of H.E. Eng.Tarek Bakheet - Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the National Authority for Military Production, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Sherine Mohamed - Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office, and several other senior officials from the Ministry and the Authority.

During the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed between AASTMT and the National Authority for Military Production that aims to integrate scientific research and artificial intelligence into local manufacturing industries through a strategic training partnership. H.E. Minister of State for Military Production confirmed that AASTMT will endeavor to qualify personnel from the Ministry and its affiliated entities, with a focus on training leaders and technical staff. This collaboration seeks to improve production lines by implementing smart systems through student participation in applied research. This initiative supports presidential directives aimed at local manufacturing and the localization of modern technologies, ultimately enhancing national production capabilities and reducing reliance on imports. The Ministry is demonstrating its capacity to fulfill logistical needs by attempting to provide AASTMT students training opportunities in relevant areas, highlighting its ability to meet logistical requirements at competitive prices. H.E. AASTMT President expressed his pride in collaborating with a leading national industrial institution that supports Egyptian industry, and looked forward to a fruitful partnership with its companies and units. As, the importance of this collaboration in fostering the exchange of expertise and supporting sustainable development, particularly in the areas of innovation and digital transformation, was also emphasized.
