League of Arab States Students “Summer Camp” at AASTMT AbuKir Campus

Within the framework of supporting the joint Arab action system and consolidating the distinguished relations between the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), the activities of the League of Arab States Students “Summer Camp” were held during the period from 4 – 7 September 2025, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus in Alexandria. The event was held under the auspices of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and with the support of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President.

A number of LAS and AASTMT senior officials participated in the camp opening ceremony. As, the camp's activities included several lectures on the prospects of cooperation between LAS and AASTMT in supporting joint Arab action, as well as, AASTMT's innovative experience and initiatives in the international robotics competitions, and AASTMT's experience in maritime education and training, including training of AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students on the latest models of giant ships and new navigational aids, in addition to a lecture on community service and sustainable development. Moreover, the camp featured sports activities, videos and documentaries on LAS and AASTMT collaborative relations and a visit to AASTMT Planetarium Center and College of Maritime Transport and Technology simulator complex.
