The 2025 Egyptian Summer Mini-Handball Championship at AASTMT

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), in collaboration with the Egyptian Handball Federation, organized the 2025 Egyptian Summer Mini-Handball Championship, that is held with the participation of 35 clubs from all around Egypt.

A press conference was held on Sunday 31- 8- 2025, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus – Alexandria, to announce the launching of the Championship. H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail - AASTMT President, Dr. Safaa Sherif - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, representing the Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mr. Khaled Fathy - President of the Egyptian Handball Federation, in addition to a number of heads of participating clubs and members of the Egyptian Handball Federation's Board of Directors participated in the event.

It worth noting that the activities of the championship are part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' initiatives to promote collaboration, support young people, and offer sports and competitive opportunities. The championship reflects the Egyptian state's vision of fostering the talents of its people and developing generations capable of raising Egypt's flag in many venues. As, Handball is widely recognized both regionally and globally. In this regard, AASTMT actively participate in all initiatives that support and enhance the skills of the country's young people.
