Graduation Ceremony of "Ahfad University for Women Medical Studies Students" at AASTMT

As part of the fruitful cooperation between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Ahfad University for Women (AUW) in the Republic of Sudan, the graduation ceremony of a new batch from AUW medical studies students was held on Monday 16- 6- 2025, at AASTMT New Alamein Campus.

The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Major General Khaled Shoaib - Governor of Matrouh, H.E. Lieutenant General Engineer Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi - Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Cairo, H.E. Lieutenant General Yasser Mohamed Othman - Director General of the General Administration of Border Crossings and Ports in the Republic of Sudan, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail – AASTMT President, H.E. Prof. Dr. Qasim Badri - AUW President, Dr. Amna Badri - AUW Vice President, Prof. Dr. Enas Aziz Malik - Dean of AUW Faculty of Medicine, H.E. Prof. Dr. Islam Assaf - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Matrouh, H.E. Prof. Dr. Tariq Kasah - President of the Matrouh Doctors Syndicate, a group of senior officials, parents, in addition to the participation of AASTMT officials, and AASTMT medical sector officials, deans of colleges, and academic staff members.

It's worth to mention that during the celebration, it was underlined that the event signifies the end of an extensive academic journey and the results of two esteemed organisations' extraordinary relationship and twinning. Since the agreement with AASTMT was a "lifeline" during the conflict, the collaboration between AASTMT and AUW has improved the self-esteem and empowerment of female students, which occurred in their "second homeland." Ahfad University administrators expressed their gratitude to AASTMT, the League of Arab States, Egypt, and Egyptian citizens for facilitating the students' smooth integration into Egyptian society.
