AASTMT “Advisory Council - Social Responsibility” First session

The activities of the first session of the Advisory Council and Social Responsibility of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) were launched at AASTMT South Valley campus. The event is an exceptional partnership that brings together AASTMT with its educational institutions, training programs and community service with various sectors of industry and society. The first session was launched in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President, H.E. Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal - Governor of Aswan, and an elite of deans of colleges, officials, experts and professionals.

During the Council's activities, His Excellency the Governor of Aswan praised AASTMT role in achieving integration between education and social responsibility, and affirmed his full support for AASTMT's efforts in the field of social responsibility. His Excellency AASTMT President confirmed that this council consists of six major sectors, namely “College of Engineering and Technology - College of Management and Technology - College of International Transport and Logistics - College of Computing and Information Technology - College of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage – Community and Social Responsibility Sector. These sectors are the fundamental pillars of AASTMT South Valley campus. Additionally, His Excellency also noted that AASTMT pioneering role in improving integration between education, industry, and community development is confirmed by the launch of this council's activities. As AASTMT serves as a bridge between academic education and the labour market, helping to develop academic programs and provide students with opportunities for practical training that meet the demands of the modern world.
