"Shipping Deputy Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus" Delegation at AASTMT

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) welcomed an elite delegation from Shipping Deputy Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus during the period from 29 – 31 October 2024. During the visit, the delegation met H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, on Wednesday 30- 10- 2024, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus. A number of topics have been addressed, including enhancing various means of cooperation, promoting discussion, knowledge sharing and exchange of expertise in areas of common interest. Then, AASTMT President and H.E. Ms. Marina Hadjimanolis - Deputy Minister of Shipping of the Republic of Cyprus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two parties. The agreement was signed in the presence of Shipping Deputy Minister accompanying delegation, H.E. Ms. Polly Ioannou - Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and a group of AASTMT officials. Moreover, the delegation went on an inspection tour and visited AASTMT Planetarium, Integrated Simulators Complex (ISC), Maritime Safety Institute, and AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology simulators.
