“AASTMT - Brightskies Company” Agreement

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport`s (AASTMT) endeavor to consolidate bonds of cooperation, always look forward to new future horizons and continuously support the educational process as to keep pace with the continuous technological development, AASTMT welcomed a delegation from Brightskies Company at AASTMT Smart Village campus. The delegation from Brightskies Company as being specialized in software systems and technology, included; Eng. Hesham Arafa -- Brightskies Operations Manager, Eng. Hossam Yehia - Brightskies Technical Director, Eng. Mahmoud Sorour - Brightskies Technical Director of Self-Driving Systems, and Eng. Habeeba Khaled - Brightskies Director of Self-Driving Programs.

During the visit, the delegation met H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President as to discuss the methods of cooperation in areas of mutual interest in the presence of a group of AASTMT Smart Village Campus College of Engineering and technology officials and AASTMT Officials. Then, a protocol of cooperation between AASTMT and Brightskies Company was signed as to link the educational process with the industry. The protocol aims to provide the practical part of the new specialization in Computer Engineering Program at AASTMT Smart Village campus "Smart software for Autonomous Vehicle", and to build an "Outdoor Lab" with an "Autonomous Vehicle" as to apply the practical aspects. It's worth to mention that Brightskies is a digital transformation enabler and market leader founded in 2012.
