“AASTMT - German University of Technology in Oman” Agreement

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport`s (AASTMT) endeavor to consolidate bonds of cooperation, always look forward to new future horizons and continuously support the educational process, AASTMT welcomed H.E. Prof. Dr. Michael Braun - President of German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) and H.E. Prof. Dr. Othman Barghout - Dean of GUtech College of Business Administration and Economics, during the period from 4 - 6 August 2024.

During the visit, the delegation visited AASTMT Abu Qir Campus, and met with AASTMT Dean of College of International Transport and Logistics in Cairo. The delegation also met H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President at AASTMT Alamein Campus as to discuss the methods of cooperation in areas of mutual interest. H.E. AASTMT President and H.E. GUtech President signed a protocol of cooperation between AASTMT and GUtech in the presence of a group of AASTMT Officials. Then the delegation toured AASTMT ElAlamein Campus, which is characterized by a different nature in terms of the technology used and the various facilities provided by AASTMT to support the educational process.
