The Green ICT Technology initiative at AASTMT AbuKir Campus

Within the framework of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in achieving sustainable development goals, in parallel with Egypt hosting COP 27 Conference, and AASTMT role in supporting the initiative of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, which aims to change behaviors, spread environmental awareness and urge citizens with young people in particular as to protect the environment, natural resources and protectorates to maintain sustainability and preserve future generations rights, AASTMT students launched an initiative that entitled “Green ITC Technology” under the sponsorship of H.E Prof. Dr Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT president.
The Green ITC Technology initiative was held on Thursday 10- 11- 2022, at AASTMT - AbuKir Campus – Alexandria, in the presence of H.E AASTMT President, a group of AASTMT College of Engineering and Technology Officials, and students, as well as representatives from the Students Union. This initiative is part of AASTMT campaign to protect the environment and its fight against climate change, as it aims at protecting the environment from the harmful output of technologies through using the right and safe scientific methods of disposing electronic wastes.
