International Day for Women in Maritime

"The International Day of Women in the Maritime Sector" is an annual event celebrated on the 18th of May each year. It aims to exchange knowledge and experiences in the maritime sector, promote gender equality and innovation, support education and training for women in maritime and navigation fields, and enhance sustainable development in the maritime sector. This aligns with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) adoption in 2021.This comes in line with the adoption of the International Maritime Organization. The International Maritime Organization adopted the IMO in 2021.
