Participation in the 111th Session of the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC 111)

The Dean of RMSI, Dr. Capt. Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel-Fattah Hafez, and Capt. Bassem Mahmoud Abdel Hamid El-Hety participated remotely in the work of the 111th session of the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC 111) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). During the session, they contributed to the review and discussion of the technical and regulatory matters included on the Committee’s agenda and examined the draft decisions and recommendations related to maritime safety and security.

They also analyzed the key outcomes and decisions adopted during the session and prepared a comprehensive technical report highlighting the main findings and recommendations for submission to the relevant authorities. The report aims to support the development of maritime policies and procedures in line with the latest international requirements and developments issued by the International Maritime Organization.
