Launch of the First Phase of the Scout Trainers Preparation Program of Sporting Club at Port Training Institute

On Friday, 26 June 2026, the first phase of the Scout Trainers Preparation Program was successfully launched. The program is organized by the Scouts and Guides Committee of Sporting Club in cooperation with the Port Training Institute (PTI), Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), with the participation of a distinguished group of young scouts and members of the club's scouting movement.

The program features a series of specialized lectures and practical training workshops designed to prepare qualified scout trainers while developing their leadership and instructional skills. The objective is to equip participants with the knowledge and competencies needed to transfer expertise and enhance the performance of the scouting movement in accordance with the latest scientific and training methodologies.

The program also aims to enhance participants' maritime awareness by introducing them to the significance of the maritime sector, the maritime transport system, and its vital role in supporting the global economy and international trade, thereby broadening their understanding of one of the world's most strategic industries.

The program is delivered by a distinguished team of specialized maritime instructors under the supervision of Captain Ahmed Sharabia, Head of the Maritime Programs Department at Port Training Institute, ensuring a high-quality learning experience that combines practical expertise with modern educational approaches.
