External Audit for ISO 9001 Quality Certification by the Certification Body DNV

On Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026, the external audit activities were conducted by the representative of DNV, the certification body for the quality certificate, as part of DNV’s periodic audit process for the Institute in order to renew the ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate. The audit commenced with the opening session attended by Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of the Institute, along with the department directors and heads of sections at the Institute.

Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy welcomed the representative of DNV, the certification body for the quality certificate. Following that, Dr. Hossam Harb, Director of the Planning and Follow-up Department, delivered a presentation on the Institute’s activities, highlighting the most important events and achievements accomplished during the previous period.

Afterwards, the representative of DNV carried out the audit activities on several departments within the Institute, where compliance with the required standards and procedures necessary to achieve quality requirements was verified. This was followed by the closing session of the audit.

This comes within the framework of the Institute’s continuous efforts to deliver its training and educational activities in accordance with international quality standards.
