Port Training Institute of the Arab Academy Participates in the First Day of JIFEX Aqaba 2025 Conference and Exhibition

In line with the directives of His Excellency Professor Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Port Training Institute of the Academy participated today in the activities of the first day of the International Freight and Logistics Conference and Exhibition **JIFEX Aqaba 2025**, held in Aqaba, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, from 16 to 18 December 2025, under the theme:

The Future of the Logistics Sector

The first day’s activities witnessed a distinguished participation by the Institute, as Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport,   chaired one of the main conference sessions. During the session, he highlighted the Institute’s expertise in preparing and qualifying specialized human resources, its role in supporting and developing the ports, maritime transport, and logistics sectors at both regional and international levels, and discussed opportunities for joint regional cooperation in this vital sector.

 

The Institute also participated with a distinguished pavilion in the accompanying exhibition, represented by Dr. Essam Moustafa, Director of Business Development at Port Training Institute. The pavilion showcased the Institute’s specialized training programs, consultancy services, and key activities in capacity development and competency building, contributing to enhancing port efficiency and competitiveness.

 

This participation comes as part of  Port Training Institute’s commitment, under the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, to strengthening its presence in specialized international events and building new strategic partnerships, in support of the competitiveness of Arab ports and their role as an effective hub in global trade movement.
