As part of the Port Training Institute (PTI) of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation across various fields, and upon the invitation of the Sudanese Embassy in Egypt and the Egyptian-Sudanese Company for Development and Multiple Investments, a delegation from the Port Training Institute and the Maritime Transport Research and Consultation Center participated yesterday in the preparatory workshops for the (Second Egyptian-Sudanese Business Forum)
Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center at the Academy, delegated “Mr. Mohamed El-Abasiry”, Head of the Economics Department; “Dr. Hossam Harb”, Director of Planning and Follow-up; and “Dr. Mostafa Saber”, Head of River Transport Research Department. Dr. Saber delivered a presentation highlighting the Institute’s and Center’s achievements, particularly previous collaborations with the Republic of Sudan, as well as potential areas for cooperation, current training and research opportunities, and proposals for developing river transport between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation also held several fruitful meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation and establishing specialized partnerships in the fields of training, research, and consultancy.
