Port Training Institute Welcomes a High-Level Delegation from TIL/MSC Morocco

Within the framework of the strong relations between the Port Training Institute and Marsa Maroc, and in continuation of fostering fruitful cooperation between both sides, , Prof.  Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center, , and the Centers of Responsibility at the Institute – received on Sunday, September 21, 2025, a high-level delegation from TIL/MSC, which included:

Mr. Romain Lutter – Senior Human Resources Manager (TIL/MSC)

Mr. Said Esbaai – Human Resources Manager

Mr. Tarek Haman – Senior HR Projects Manager

The delegation was received at the Institute by Mr. Ihab Hamdy, Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Eng. Hesham Hamdy, Head of the Crane Simulators Department, and Eng. Omar Mohamed, Crane Simulators Department.

During the meeting, the Dean gave an introductory presentation on the Institute’s capabilities, services, and partnerships at the local, regional, and international levels, in addition to its active role in enriching the ports and maritime transport sector through advanced training programs aligned with modern global trends.

The meeting also discussed mechanisms of joint cooperation in the fields of training, exchange of expertise, and technical qualification, in support of integration efforts between both parties and in contribution to the development of human resources in the maritime transport sector.

The visit included a field tour of the Institute covering:

The Integrated Simulators Complex for Cranes and Trucks

Technical workshops and training laboratories

A comprehensive presentation of the Institute’s capacity-building and training capabilities for technical and administrative personnel in the maritime transport sector

The delegation expressed great admiration for the modern facilities and advanced training methods they observed, praising the vital role played by the Institute in preparing maritime human resources in accordance with the highest international standards.
