A Delegation from Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center Visits Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company

As part of strengthening joint cooperation between academic institutions and maritime transport companies, a delegation from the Port Training Institute and the Maritime Transport Research & Consultation Center at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport visited Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company.

The delegation was headed by Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime  Research and Consultation Center of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, , accompanied by Dr. Essam Moustafa, Director of Business Development, Eng. Hisham Hamdy, Head of the Simulators Department, Eng. Ahmed Shaaban, and Dr. Ahmed Anis from the Research & Consultation Center. They were received by Rear Admiral (Ret.) Dr. Rafiq Galal, Executive Managing Director of the company.

During the visit, both sides discussed avenues of cooperation in the fields of training, technical qualification, and technical consultancy, with the aim of enhancing human resource efficiency and supporting development processes within the company.

This meeting comes as an extension of the fruitful relations between the Port Training Institute, the Research & Consultation Center, and Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company, which have already resulted in specialized training programs that contributed to the development of the maritime transport and ports sector.
