As part of the Port Training Institute’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with leading international companies and to broaden the horizons of partnership in the fields of training and qualification, the Institute received on, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, a delegation from Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) headed by Dr. Mohamed Ezz El-Din, General Director of Human Resources.
The delegation was welcomed by Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Dr. Gamal Abdel Nasser, Director of the Education & Training Department, Dr. Essam Moustafa, Director of Business Development Department, Eng. Hesham Hamdy, Head of the Simulators and Cranes Equipment Department, and Mr. Ahmed Shary, Head of the Public Relations Department.
The visit began with an introductory meeting during which the Dean welcomed the distinguished guests. The meeting discussed aspects of mutual cooperation in the field of maritime training and education, and the Institute presented a detailed overview of its advanced capabilities.
Following this, the delegation conducted a field tour that included laboratories, technical workshops, and the Port Equipment Simulators Complex, where they expressed their great admiration for the facilities and technological advancements observed.
This visit comes within the framework of the Institute’s strategy to build effective partnerships with leading global companies, with the aim of enhancing training and professional qualification services for workers in the ports and maritime transport sector.
