Cooperation Between SOMAPORT Company in the Kingdom of Morocco and Port Training Institute

As part of Port Training Institute’s role in qualifying human resources in Egypt and the Arab world to support the maritime transport industry, and to strengthen the distinguished relations with SOMAPORT Company in the Kingdom of Morocco,

A contract has been signed with SOMAPORT Company in the Kingdom of Morocco to train, qualify, and enhance the efficiency of the company’s crane operators.

On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the Institute received a group of trainees from the company. The training includes both theoretical and practical aspects, using crane simulators and hands-on training on actual cranes at the container terminal.

It is worth mentioning that the Institute possesses a range of the most advanced port equipment simulators in Egypt and the Middle East, in addition to a number of highly experienced instructors
