PQI Delivers Specialized Diploma in TQM and Lean Six Sigma with Focus on Leadership and Organizational Culture

As part of its distinguished training portfolio, the Productivity and Quality Institute (PQI) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport successfully delivered the Specialized Diploma in Total Quality Management (TQM) and Lean Six Sigma, incorporating an advanced training module on Leadership and Organizational Culture.

The program was delivered by Dr. Sherif Mowafy and brought together participants from Mellitah Oil & Gas Company – Libya, reflecting PQI’s continued regional outreach and impact across the Arab region.

The diploma focused on building effective leadership capabilities, strengthening change management skills, and aligning organizational culture with institutional performance and continuous improvement objectives. The Leadership and Organizational Culture module emphasized the critical role of leaders in fostering a quality-driven mindset, enhancing employee engagement, and sustaining operational excellence.

Through interactive discussions, applied case studies, and practical frameworks, participants explored strategies to embed quality principles within organizational culture and drive measurable performance improvement.
