AASTMT participation in the meetings of the follow-up team concerned with the international environmental agreements of chemicals and hazardous waste at the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the meetings of the follow-up team concerned with the international environmental agreements of chemicals and hazardous waste at the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE), during the period from 19 - 21 March 2023, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab states.
The activities of the meetings and the workshop were held in the presence of H.E. Minister Plenipotentiary Mahmoud Reda Fathallah - Director of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Meteorology at the League of Arab States, as the meetings were chaired by H.E. Prof. Dr. Adel El Shazly - Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Advisor to Egyptian Minister of Environment, and with the participation of a high level of senior Officials from the Ministries of Environment in the Arab countries, as well as representatives of international and Arab organizations, where they discussed a number of issues related to solid waste, chemicals and hazardous waste in Arab countries.
