The first Arab conference for the media, Which was held on Sunday, 21 January, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States and H.E.Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT)(Representative of The Joint Arab Action institutions) , in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. (Kamal Hassan Ali, Assistant Secretary General, Head of the Economic Affairs Sector (The conference chairman) and H.E consultant Abdul Kader Mohamed Kheir , Director of the Arab Organizations and Federation Department at the Secretariat General of the League of Arab States (General coordinator of the conference.)The conference deals with the role of the Arab action institutions in achieving sustainable development goals 2030 in the Arab region, and the various media role in promoting the activities of The Joint Arab Action institutions in addition to many important topics related to education, culture, scientific research ,youth employment, , food, water security, issues of poverty, the refugee crisis, displaced persons, security and to face extremism.
