The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has received 2030 Sustainable Development Award of the Afro-Asian Economic Council (AAEC) - category of Arab universities and academic institutions - as a culmination of AASTMT role in implementing policies, decisions, development plans and strategies, as well as the economic visions that are related to the projects sustainable development.It`s worth to mention that Dr. Gamal Ghaloush - AASTMT Vice President for Training, Community Service and Environmental Development, on behalf of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, has received the award during the second session of "2018 Sustainable Development Conference" that was held on 2 - 4 May 2018, in Cairo, where the conference was held in co-operation with the Afro-Asian Economic Council in New York and the Arab European Environment Organization in Geneva, in the presence of a number of Egyptian, Arab and African dignitaries, with the participation of Ministries of Military Production, Antiquities, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Authority.
