Within the keenness of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) on the progress of the educational process, as well as providing support and achieving a continuous linkage, AASTMT College of Medicine organized "Medicine Day" as to celebrate the success of summer training program of AASTMT College of Medicine first year students that was held on August - September 2022, with the participation of Alexandria International Hospital, Mabaret Al Asafra Hospitals, Elite Hospital, Nile of Hope Hospital, and Dar El-Khosouba Center.The celebration was held on Sunday 23- 10- 2022, at AASTMT El Alamein Campus, in the presence of Dr. Jacqueline Azar - Deputy Governor of Alexandria, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Othman - Head of the Egyptian Authority for Compulsory Training of Physicians (CEMTA), Prof. Dr. Wael Nabil - Vice President of Alexandria University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Mohsen - Dean of Faculty of Medicine at University of Alexandria, Prof. Dr. Amira Tahio - Undersecretary of Egyptian Ministry of Health in Alexandria, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Saad Galal - Captain of Alexandria Physicians.It is worth to mention that during the celebration, AASTMT College of Medicine honored the hospitals participated in the training program in appreciation of their efforts and cooperation to achieve the training objectives in an honorable manner, then Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hisham Abdel Moneim - Dean of AASTMT College of Medicine and Prof. Dr. Amira Tahio - Undersecretary of Egyptian Ministry of Health in Alexandria signed an agreement as to train AASTMT College of Medicine students in the primary health care units, centers and hospitals affiliated with Alexandria Health Affairs Directorate, as well as to increase the training with different levels of health service provision.
