The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the International Conference on Higher Education and Training “Edu Gate” that is organized by Al-Ahram Foundation during the period from 26 - 28 February 2019 at Kempinski Hotel, under the patronage of and the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Khaled Atef Abdel Ghaffar - Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama - Secretary General of the Union of Arab Universities, H.E Mr. Abdel Mohsen Salama - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram Foundation and H.E Mr. Alaa Thabet - Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, in addition to the participation of a number of universities from inside and outside Egypt, training centers and international donors, as well as the participation of some presidents from a number of selected universities, specialists and those who are concerned with the development of the educational system and the efficiency improvement process.It’s worth to mention that H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President delivered a speech at the opening session of the conference on Tuesday 26- 2- 2019, as His Excellency reviewed the most important achievements of AASTMT over the last few years, as His Excellency presented the importance of the educational development and the openness to the external world through Several scientific and research co-operational agreements between AASTMT and the major international universities, as well as AASTMT students exchange programs with the greatest European universities in all disciplines.
