In keeping with the role of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) as an exceptional leading educational institution in serving the Arab society, as well as giving visibility and recognition to the role women play as key resources for the maritime sector, AASTMT in cooperation with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Egyptian Ministry of Transport represented in the Maritime Transport Sector organized the First Regional Conference for Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA) that will be held during 15 – 18 April 2019, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus - Alexandria – Egypt, where the conference will support the Arab women in Maritime Transport sector through the Arab Women`s Association in the Maritime Sector (AWIMA).
